Rain Duʿā
Question
Is there any specific Duʿā to be read when it rains?
Answer
بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
The mother of believers ʿĀʾishah (d. 58/678) (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that whenever the messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the rain, he would say:
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
“O Allah, [may it be] beneficial fruitful [rain]” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, 1032).
