Masjid profiting from Janāzah services
Question
Is it permissible for Masjids and Islamic organisations to profit from Janāzah services? Would any profit need to be reinvested into the Janāzah provisions or can it be utilised for the other services of the Masjid and Islamic organisation?

Answer
Masjids and Islamic organisations should avoid making profit from Janāzah services and should instead fix a charge to cover the costs. Nevertheless, if any profits are generated, it can be used for any of their services, unless their constitution or policies state otherwise.
