Masjids selling Ṣalāh timetables at a profitable price
Question
What is the ruling on Masjids selling annual Ṣalāh timetables and making a profit? They cost around £1.50 to print and some Masjids sell them at a profitable price saying it is a benefit to the Masjid. I feel this sort of business should not be done in our Masjids. Please advise.

Answer
In principle, Masjids can sell annual Ṣalāh timetables at a profitable price, there is no compulsion on anyone to purchase them. Nevertheless, Masjids are advised to sell at cost price or with a small profit margin so that more people can easily purchase and benefit from them.
