Inheritance Calculation
Question
How much percentage do the following get when one’s mother has passed away? Mother’s father is alive, 3 sons, 1 daughter

Answer
The inheritance will be distributed as follows assuming the deceased did not leave behind a husband:
- Father: 7/42 (1/6th) – 16.67%
- Each son: 10/42 – 23.81%
- Daughter: 5/42 – 11.9%
The percentages are rounded off, the fractions are accurate and should be used.
