Blood and Ablution queries

Question

1) A person has a minor injury. As the blood starts to appear from the wound, he wipes it with a tissue. He wipes it a few times. The blood does not flow because he wipes it each time before it can flow. Does his ablution break?

2) A person has a minor injury and his blood flows. He wipes away the blood a few times and stops bleeding. He performs ablution and puts a bandage on. After performing Ṣalāh, he removes his bandage and sees a very small blood spot on the bandage, does he have to repeat his Ṣalāh?

Answer

1) According to the ḥanafī school, flowing blood nullifies ablution. Therefore, if the tissue had not been used, and cumulatively the blood would have flowed as it appears to be the case, then ablution is broken. If the blood would not have flowed, then ablution is not broken.

2) He does not have to repeat his Ṣalāh. His ablution is not broken because blood did not flow after performing ablution.
