Beware! Jehovah’s Witnesses Manipulation & Harassment
Who are they?
Jehovah’s Witnesses is a Christian sect which originated in the USA.
What do they do?
They target vulnerable Muslims and try to manipulate them. In Blackburn, they have been reported to knock on the houses of Muslims during work hours. They try to enter the house to start a discussion in a subtle way and thereby endanger the Īmān of our Muslim mothers and sisters. Their deceptive methods include creating doubt and providing counselling and financial support especially to brothers and sisters who are encountering problems or facing difficulty.
What should you do?
Please beware of such people and inform all members of the household not to allow such people in the house. They have also started to distribute leaflets and books that entail Qurʾānic verses in Arabic to deceive Muslims. Please verify the content of books with local ʿUlamāʾ and be cautious with online material. If they try to engage in a discussion, politely refuse.
Almighty Allah says in the Holy Qurʾān:
“Say: He is Allah, The One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him” (Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ, 112).
Remain vigilant at all times to ensure your Īmān is protected.
