Using work phone charger for personal phone

Question

If my brother receives two phone chargers from his work company for his work phone, am I allowed to use the charger for my personal phone?

Answer

If the company policy is that the phone charger can be used for non-work mobiles including those belonging to other people, then this is permissible. Similarly, if it is known that the company would not mind this, then it is permissible based on ʿUrf (custom). Otherwise, if the company does not permit this, then it is not permissible.

قال الله تعالى: إن الله يأمركم أن تؤدوا الأمانات إلى أهلها. وقال تعالى: يا أيها الذين آمنوا أوفوا بالعقود۔
