Which is the best and most correct edition of Naṣb al-Rāyah?

Answer
Naṣb al-Rāyah, as commonly known, was first printed by Al-Majlis al-ʿIlmī of Dabhel and publishing houses such as Dār al-Nawādir have re-printed an exact copy of this.
Subsequently, the learned scholar Shaykh Muḥammad ʿAwwāmah (b. 1358/1940) corrected many of the mistakes therein and also numbered the Ḥadīths. This is the most correct edition to date. It should however be noted that this is not a total new print. The exact copy of the original was used and where there were errors, it was erased on computer and the correct word or sentence inserted to replace it. This is generally visible from the different fonts and also when comparing both editions. It is also worth noting that this edition still has some uncorrected errors therein (for example, see al-ʿInāyah fī Taḥqīq al-Aḥādīth al-Garībah fī al-Hidāyah, 1: 367, 2: 387, 445, 498, 531, 608). It is therefore advised to check the primary and secondary sources as relevant.
