Answer
It is permissible for a daughter-in-law to see the face of the deceased father-in-law.
قال الله تعالى في ذكر المحرمات: وحلائل أبنائكم الذين من أصلابكم، الآية. قال محمد في الأصل (٤/٣٦٠): فإذا تزوج الرجل امرأة ثم مات عنها أوطلقها دخل بها أو لم يدخل بها لم يكن لأبيه أن يتزوجها. وقال (١٠/١٨٢): فامرأة الابن حرام على أبيه وعلى جده إن كان دخل بها أو لم يدخل بها۔
