Inheritance calculation of children and brother
Question
If a deceased’s estate is £1000 and they leave behind a brother, three sons and four daughters, how will the inheritance be distributed?

Answer
Assuming there are no parents of the deceased, the money will be distributed as follows:
Each son: £200 (2/10th – 20%)
Each daughter: £100 (1/10th – 10%)
The brother will not inherit anything in this scenario.
