Question

A deceased left behind £4500 and has a wife, two sons and two daughters. How will the money be distributed?

Answer

Assuming there are no parents of the deceased, the money will be distributed as follows:

Wife: £562.50 (6/48^th – 1/8^th)

Each son: £1312.50 (14/48^th)

Each daughter: £656.25 (7/48^th)
